Momma made me build a better coop.
Each row now has it’s own riser and control valve.. All risers are 1/2 inch and fed with a 1 inch main line.
I installed a drip system in the ILP Youth Garden. Boy I realize how out of shape I am as far as crawling around on the ground gluing PVC Pipe HIHO.. Used to do it 8 hours a day for weeks at a time in the younger years. I think they will appreciate the work, Bought a trencher and plan to do some improvements all over the property this summer.
Been Pretty Busy and have a lot to get finished here at home.. Spent a lot of time last week outside getting all of the trees pruned and the yard cleaned up. Jantina and I bought 4 new fruit trees which I got planted just before a good round of February rain. The lawn will need attention soon. The temps got up in the 70’s for a week and thus every thing is getting an early start. Too bad it is so early again. I hope we do not suffer a late frost as we did last year. Not much fruit last season and plenty of disease trouble trying to act out.
This is an aerial picture of the house. The Youth Garden is straw colored area near the center right. They used straw as weeed mulch the first year.
